(Undated) -- A new report from Washington state says Utah investigators could have provided more useful information before two children were murdered by their father. The report is from the Washington Department of Social and Health Services. It says child welfare workers did the best they could with the children of Susan and Josh Powell, but perhaps sealed information about Susan's disappearance would have helped. The report also concludes nobody could have predicted that Josh Powell would murder the two boys earlier this year. The family of Susan Powell was quick to criticize that conclusion, saying they did specifically mention their fears that Josh would turn violent.
