>>Lost Teen Found Okay Near Spirit Lake

(Salt Lake City, UT) -- The 14-year-old missing five days in Daggett County is found alive and well. Rescue crews located Andre Duran late last night while combing the mountains around Spirit Lake. A news release didn't say what condition Duran was in, however he did appear to be in good health before being taken to a hospital as a precaution.

>>Deputy Nearly Kills Father Over Affair

(Grand County, UT) -- New details are emerging in the case of a former sheriff's deputy attacking his father, Moab Fire Chief Corky Brewer. Authorities say T.J. Brewer attacked his dad on July 11th over his dad's alleged affair with Brewer's wife. An unidentified neighbor says the details are a complete shock. The details wrer released after several news organizations filed legal action to release the reports.

T.J. Brewer faces assault charges. He has another court hearing tomorrow. Prosecutors will have to make their case against Brewer without help from his wife. An attorney for Logan Brewer has filed notice that she intends to assert spousal privilege and will refuse to testify against her husband if called to do so.

Attorneys for TJ and Logan Brewer both declined to comment on the information contained in the police report when contacted Friday. Moab Valley Fire Protection Commission Chairman Izzy Nelson said Corky Brewer resigned as fire chief Thursday. Full details of the report were included n several news reports over the weekend.

(Salt Lake City, UT) -- Utah's largest media outlets are banding together to ask the courts to keep open portions of proceedings involving the teen accused of the deadly attack on a soccer referee. A hearing is scheduled for this morning in Third District Juvenile Court to determine whether the 17-year-old should face trial. The teen is facing third-degree homicide in connection with the death of Ricardo Portillo. Statewide media outlets are asking the judge to clarify her decision Friday to close the entire proceedings.

>>Pageant Winner Accused Of Chucking "Bombs"

(Salt Lake City, UT) -- June's Miss Riverton pageant winner is in hot water after police say she was caught throwing bombs at homes in Salt Lake County. The "Tribune" is reporting Kendra McKenzie Gill and three others were arrested Saturday on suspicion of detonating an incendiary device. Arson investigators say the group is linked to nine incidents in which they were seen throwing the devices from a car on Friday. One of Gill's partners told police they were pranking people with fireworks.

(Wayne County, UT) -- Utah authorities release the name of a Utah man found dead while on a hiking trip. The body of 73-year-old Grant Welland of St. Louis was found Saturday morning in Horseshoe Canyon. He was last heard from July 12th. An autopsy is pending.

>>Group Rallies Against U.S. Spying

(Salt Lake City, UT) -- A group of Utahns join together over the weekend to protest spying by the U.S. government. A national movement called "Restore the Fourth" made its way to Salt Lake City outside the Matheson Courthouse yesterday. They were protesting recent revelations the NSA is spying on American citizens. They say the U.S. is in violation of the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution which prohibits unreasonable searches and seizures.

>>Drug Deal Ends With Man Shot

(Sandy, UT) -- A man is wounded in the leg in Sandy following a drug deal gone sour. Authorities say a 16-year-old is in custody for allegedly trying to rob two drug dealers yesterday. Authorities say one of the dealers was shot while sitting in the back seat of an SUV used to complete the transaction. The man who was shot was listed in fair condition.

(Logan, UT) -- A Logan family is re-united with a four-year-old boy with autism after his disappearance over the weekend. Police say the boy went missing for two-hours Saturday night. The boy cannot speak but police were able to locate him shortly thereafter.

(Salt Lake City, UT) -- A Salt Lake City real estate firm is showing off some of its high-priced homes. KSL-TV says Keller Williams Realty opened 13 Valley homes it has for sale all worth at least one-million dollars over the weekend. Realty experts say the showings indicate a resurgence in the local home-buying market.
